I still have not cheated on my diet, but I am finding it very hard not to eat everything in sight. I've noticed that I am a bored/stressed eater. I got so bored the other day that I had to get up and walk around the house because I was so tempted to eat anything I could get my hands on. That makes me feel awful.
I started using the Slim Fast powder, and I do like it a lot better than the pre-mixed. It isn't chalky and it tastes like chocolate milk! Sort of. Whoever made it must not have ever tried to make chocolate milk with cocoa when they were young. (Yes, I've tried it! It DOES NOT mix together with the milk.) The second ingredient in my mix is cocoa, and it doesn't mix well at all. I think the next day I am off work I will use my blender to see if it will mix it better.
I'm seriously considering switching to the Special K Challenge once I run out of Slim Fast powder, which is in about 3 weeks. With the Special K Challenge, I will be able to eat more, and not drink my meals.
On Saturday, I am going to visit my family, and I will be there until Tuesday. I'm really nervous about overeating or eating things that aren't good for me. I will conquer it though! My Nanny has already asked me if I want Blue & Gold chicken (which she deep fat fries) for dinner one night, and I reminded her that I was on a diet. She said she is going to make a special cake that I will be able to eat, but I know it won't compare to her one bowl chocolate cake!
I've found myself having a bit of a hard time sticking to the diet, and I don't really have anyone to push me. There is some good news though, my caffeine withdrawal headache is almost gone! Who knew it would last this long?!
Thank you again for reading this. It means a lot to me.
